Iceland is Europe’s top whale watching location. During the summer months there are regular sightings of minke, humpback and orca, as well as white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. Other species, including fin, blue and sei whales, may also be spotted from time to time – it’s all a matter of luck!
Should you wish to upgrade to the full itinerary, which adds whale watching trips to the bird watching above, you’ll need to purchase ‘open vouchers’ from us, prior to departure. These vouchers can be used on any of the whale watching departures listed below, subject to availability, although vouchers for Olafsvik can only be used in Olafsvik, not in Husavik and vice versa.
