All prices for our independent holidays are based on the lowest possible airfare, travelling with Iceland Express from Stansted airport.

Icelandair Fuel Surcharge A fuel surcharge of £44 per person is applicable to all prices shown travelling with Icelandair.

Iceland Express Fuel Surcharge A fuel surcharge of £19 per person is applicable to all prices shown travelling with Iceland Express.

 

Fares with Icelandair from Heathrow, Manchester and Glasgow are in most cases more expensive but as Icelandair operates a system where fares vary considerably we have to check these at the time of booking. For details on fare supplements click here . These will be quoted at the time of booking your holiday.

In most cases evening flights between Heathrow and Keflavik and afternoon flights between Keflavik and Heathrow are cheapest. Flights from Manchester and Glasgow are also usually cheaper than Heathrow, depending on how much of the flights are sold.

Prices include scheduled flights between the UK and Keflavik (see above for details of fare rulings from your choice of airport); transfers between Keflavik Airport and Reykjavik (if applicable); GOLD SERVICE vehicle rental* on an unlimited mileage basis and accommodation with private facilities on breakfast basis unless otherwise stated.

If you are travelling to Iceland with Icelandair why not consider flying in style in one of Europe’s best Business Class services known as Saga Class. As a Saga Class passenger you will enjoy dedicated check-in and lounge access prior to boarding the aircraft, and drinks and newspapers before take off. The in-flight menu offers a real taste of Iceland with a selection of 3-course meals including a fresh ‘catch of the day’ option.

Complimentary wines, Champagne and spirits are available throughout the flight. You also benefit from extra baggage allowance and at some departure airports, Saga Class passengers can proceed directly to the Fast Track security lines which are only available to Business Class passengers.

We use the local franchise holder of the well-respected and internationally known company, National Car Rental. All vehicles are under two years old and most are new. Depending on your itinerary, vehicles may be collected on arrival at Keflavik, Reykjavik, Akureyri or Isafjordur airports.

When staying in Reykjavik and Akureyri, you will be collected from your hotel and taken to the car rental depot to complete the rental documentation. And if required, have a briefing on the vehicle’s controls and driving in Icelandic conditions. At Keflavik, Akureyri, Reykjavik, and Isafjordur airports these formalities are handled on the spot.

Should you have any specific requirements, just let us know - we will endeavour to provide the requested vehicle, however if this isn’t possible, we reserve the right to provide an alternative of a similar or superior standard. We reserve the right to substitute a named property in the same locality for one of a similar standard or higher, and will ensure that you are fully informed in advance of the departure date, in the unlikely event that an alteration is required.
