Around Iceland on a budget

You first contact our office to check flight availability - we make a provisional reservation which we can hold for up to 7 days - all accommodation is on a request basis and is dependant on availability but it can normally be confirmed within 3 working days. You will be asked to confirm your booking within 24 hours. The exact order in which you stay at the hotels and whether you drive in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction around the circular route will be supplied in your travel documents which will be sent to you no later than 10 days prior to departure.

Breakfast is included throughout and each day outside of Reykjavik, you’ll have a packed lunch of two rounds of sandwiches. Participants must bring their own thermos (hot water supplied) and lunch box. Edda hotels often have their own restaurant or offer a very reasonable evening buffet. They also have comfortable communal lounge areas for you to swap stories and share experiences with fellow travellers.
