Journey Objectives:
This itinerary allows the active traveller a chance to explore some of East Greenland’s most stunning scenery. Hike past picturesque waterfalls, see glittering glaciers and enjoy breathtaking views, as you set the pace on this breathtaking walking tour.

Based in the Ammassalik region this self-guided hiking holiday combines the adventure of day hikes with the comfort of hotel accommodation at night. As you set your own pace each day, follow marked trails and rough tracks through valleys, beside rivers and up mountains to explore the wilderness that surrounds both Kulusuk and Tasiilaq.

This tour provides the perfect opportunity to independently experience the rugged beauty of the East Greenland landscape without having to sacrifice home comforts. By self-guiding you’ll be able to adapt each day to suit your own specific interests and pace.

Flying from the UK via Reykjavik where you spend a night at both the start and end of the holiday, you'll have the opportunity to explore in and around the attractive East coast settlements of Kulusuk and Tasiilaq and enjoy a choice of optional excursions.
