| Day 1: |
fly from London to Winnipeg (via Toronto or Montreal) with Air Canada; transfer on your own to the elegant Fort Garry Hotel for an overnight stay on a breakfast basis. |
| Day 2: |
an early morning check-in for your charter flight to Churchill (hence the choice of an airport hotel for the first night!). Upon arrival you will be met by your Naturalist Guide and taken on a tour of the town and surrounding area. The remainder of the day is free to visit the Eskimo Museum, the Interpretive Centre or shop for souvenirs. Enjoy a welcome dinner and orientation session this evening with your fellow travelling companions and guide. (Breakfast and dinner are included today). |
| Day 3: |
take a full day tundra buggy tour in search of bears and other wildlife. Packed lunch and hot drinks are provided on board the buggy. Evening at leisure. (Breakfast and lunch are included today). |
| Day 4: |
a Cultural and Historical Tour of the town and the surrounding area has been arranged today. Visit local places of interest such as Cape Merry, the Port of Churchill, and the Polar Bear Compound. Learn the history of the explorers from the Hudson’s Bay Company who founded the town. This afternoon offers free time to visit the Eskimo Museum and the Parks Canada Display. An optional helicopter trip or dog-sled excursion may also be arranged (at an additional cost, strictly subject to availability locally). (Breakfast included today). |
| Day 5: |
a second full day is spent out on the tundra observing the behaviour of the Great White Bear and the relationships it forms with other wildlife species. Following a Farewell Dinner, we will head to the airport for an evening flight back to Winnipeg. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to the Fort Garry Hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included today). |
| Day 6: |
this morning offers free time to explore the shops, visit with new friends or take those last minute photos. You will then be transferred to Churchill Airport for your flight south. Upon arrival in Winnipeg transfer to the Fort Garry Hotel for your overnight stay. (Breakfast included today). |
| Day 7: |
check out of your hotel and make your own way to Winnipeg airport for the return overnight flight with Air Canada (via Toronto or Montreal) to the UK. |
| Day 8: |
arrive UK. |
