join a full day guided Golden Circle tour. A light lunch is included. |
Day 3:

New Years Eve at leisure or take an optional excursion. In the evening, have a magnificent festive dinner before viewing spectacular fireworks from a vantage point overlooking the city. Those who wish can continue the celebrations at Reykjavik’s many pubs and clubs (not included in price). |
Day 4:
01Jan |
have a lie in before the late morning trip to the Blue Lagoon – bathe in the soothing, warm waters. |
Day 5:
02Jan |
passengers staying 4 nights transfer to Keflavik for the return flight to the UK. Remaining passengers have extra time to enjoy Reykjavik’s many attractions. |
Day 6:
03Jan |
transfer to Keflavik for the return flight to the UK. |

Day 1:

(26 Dec) fly from the UK to Keflavik, transfer to Reykjavik for an overnight stay. |
Day 2:
27Dec |
(27 Dec) transfer from your accommodation to Reykjavik City Airport for an early morning flight to Akureyri. Stop at the beautiful ‘waterfall of the gods’ Godafoss, then continue to the lake taking a leisurely two hours to soak up the scenery en route before checking in at Hotel Reynihlíð, around 3pm. Light refreshments are served whilst guests are informed of the additional activities available over the next few days – perhaps take an evening dip in the Nature Baths or go on a northern lights hunt? Dinner is served at the hotel's restaurant. |
Day 3:
28Dec |
(28 Dec) at leisure to take an optional excursion – see Magic of Myvatn for details. Excursions are generally operated between the daylight hours of 11am and 3pm, with additional trips in the evening. Dinner is served at the hotel’s restaurant. |
Day 4:
29Dec |
(29 Dec) morning at leisure. Transfer to Akureyri for the flight to Reykjavik City Airport then transfer to Hotel Plaza and check in for 4 or 5 nights. Have a Welcome meeting to find out more about your time in the capital. |
