Day 1:

(23 Dec) fly from the UK to Keflavik, transfer to Hotel Saga and check in for 4 nights (London passengers) |
Day 2:
24Dec |
sit back and relax and take a guided Golden Circle tour, with time to enjoy some of Iceland’s best known natural wonders in their winter guise. Light lunch included. In the evening, you’ll have a spectacular Christmas Eve buffet dinner back at the hotel, including such Icelandic delicacies as traditional mountain lamb and smoked salmon. |
Day 3:
25Dec |
Christmas Day morning at leisure then in the afternoon, spend time soaking in the warm, milky blue mineral rich waters of the Blue Lagoon. Return to the hotel and enjoy what promises to be very special indeed, a Christmas feast! |
Day 4:
26Dec |
Boxing Day at leisure to enjoy the attractions of the city or perhaps take an optional excursion. |
Day 5:
27Dec |
transfer to Keflavik airport for the flight back to the UK. |

| OPTIONAL MYVATN EXTENSION |
Day 5:
27Dec |
transfer from your accommodation to Reykjavik City Airport for an early morning flight to Akureyri. Stop at the beautiful ‘waterfall of the gods’ – Godafoss then continue to the lake, taking a leisurely two hours to soak up the scenery en route before checking in at Hotel Reynihlíð around 3pm. Light refreshments are served whilst guests are informed of the additional activities available over the next few days – perhaps take an evening dip in the Nature Baths or go on a northern lights hunt? Dinner is served at the hotel's restaurant. |
Day 6:
28Dec |
at leisure to take an optional excursion – see below for details. Excursions are generally operated between the daylight hours of 11am and 3pm, with additional trips in the evening. Dinner is served at the hotel’s restaurant. |
Day 7:
29Dec |
mid-morning transfer to Akureyri for the flight to Reykjavik. Glasgow passengers transfer to accommodation in the capital and London passengers transfer directly to Keflavik for the onward flight to the UK. |
Day 8:
30Dec |
Glasgow passengers transfer to Keflavik for the flight home. |
