Itinerary
|
| Day 1: |
fly from the UK to Keflavik and transfer to Reykjavik and your hotel – rest of the evening at leisure. |
| Days 2 & 3: |
set off from the hotel each day on an 8-10 hour superjeep safari during which time your drivers put the vehicles through their paces. Take in the famed ‘ Golden Circle’ route: visit the double falls of Gullfoss and the Geysir geothermal area, with its spouting hot springs, as well as scenic Thingvellir, an area ideally suited to being explored by superjeep. When heading along the south coast, visit the impressive waterfall Skogafoss, take a walk behind Seljalandsfoss, see the rugged coastline with its black sand beaches and the natural rock arch at Dyrholaey. Return to the hotel and relax! |
| Day 4: |
morning departure from Reykjavik by superjeep and transfer to the Blue Lagoon. Relax in the warm, milky-blue waters of Iceland’s most famous geothermal bathing spot set amidst a jet black lava field before exploring the volcanic Reykjanes peninsula. Transfer to Keflavik Airport for your return flight to the UK Please note, Glasgow passengers will visit the Blue Lagoon on the day of arrival.
