The attractive town of Tasiilaq on the island of Ammassalik, has a population of around 1600. The Tasiilaq Museum is well worth a visit if you’d like to know more about the rich heritage of this fascinating region.
The delightful Hotel Ammassalik enjoys views over the ice-filled fjord and high mountains. The hotel has its own lounge and bar. In Reykjavik accommodation is in tourist class hotels in rooms with shower/sc or guesthouses.
