Ski Icehotel®, Sweden

This marvellous short break combines a spell on the slopes at one of our Swedish ski resorts with a visit to the incredible ICEHOTEL. With an abundance of the white stuff, plenty of optional activities and the unforgettable ‘sleeping on ice’ experience, this really does tick all the boxes!

Even for ski enthusiasts who can’t wait to get out on the slopes, a trip to Kiruna, Swedish Lapland would not be complete without a minor detour to Jukkasjarvi as visitors here cannot fail to be impressed by the awe and wonder of the ICEHOTEL.

A guided tour around this masterpiece of design and construction is included as well as a night in a standard Snow room. You can even squeeze in some cross-country skiing along the frozen river Torne, or search for the Northern Lights on a fantastic Snowmobile Safari. Of course, if you’d prefer to spend a night in the comfort of a warm room, we will be happy to make the arrangements subject to availability.

Nestled amidst Swedish Lapland’s finest scenery, Bjorkliden and Riksgransen ski resorts are a couple of Sweden’s best-kept secrets. With ski seasons extending to the end of May and June respectively and plenty of off-piste challenges, these blossoming resorts are bound to catch the eye of any serious skier.

Riksgransen is situated close to the Norwegian border and in winter months offers excellent chances of viewing the Northern Lights. Ideal for experienced skiers, groups and adrenalin junkies alike, Riksgransen offers exceptional Heli-skiing, off-piste skiing and a range of winter activities.
Bjorkliden is a smaller ‘family-friendly’ ski resort, perfect for families or couples looking for a more intimate ski experience. Here children can enjoy the nursery slope and ski school, whilst big kids can explore the slopes on and off-piste, or participate in activities including dog sledding, ice climbing, ice fishing and more.

Choose between a night at the ICEHOTEL plus 3 nights at a ski resort or for a more complete experience, 3 nights at the ICEHOTEL then 4 nights at a ski resort. Transfer from the ICEHOTEL to your choice of ski resort either by bus or train direct from Kiruna.

Fly direct to Kiruna in February and March or travel via Stockholm on scheduled services until the middle of May for Bjorkliden and the end of June for Riksgransen).
