Stockholm’s first boutique hotel is a very stylish affair. Opened in 2003, the original building dates from the 1930’s and every aspect of the interior design has been updated and thought through meticulously. The rooms are classical rather than trendy, and comfortable rather than luxurious. There are 99 rooms of various categories but all are equipped with 32” plasma screens, DVD/CD-players, wireless Internet connection, safe and mini-bar. The hotel has a Bar & Bistro, Cocktail Bar, Honesty Bar, a café and a cinema. And while the hotel is not just for ABBA fans, the fact that it is part owned by Benny Andersson, one quarter of Sweden’s most successful musical export, might just be of interest.
