Iceland Travel Consultant
We are looking for a travel consultant to join our team selling an exciting range of worldwide tours and holidays specialising in Iceland.
Our sales executives enjoy a reputation for offering outstanding service to our clients, and to help you achieve this we provide excellent training in an enthusiastic and friendly reservations department.
Duties include selling our holidays as well as some administration.
We are interested in applicants with:
- a minimum of two years tour operating, retail travel and general office experience
- office skills including Microsoft Excel and Word, and computer reservations experience with Galileo or Amadeus.
- You should have a friendly and helpful telephone manner and a personable nature.
- An eye for detail, ability to work with accuracy and good spoken and written English are all essential.
- An interest in, or experience of, our unusual holiday destinations would be an advantage.
In return we offer a basic salary of 16K per annum rising to £18k on acheivemts of targets and the potential to earn commission, 20 days paid annual leave, travel insurance, lunch and a company pension scheme.

Manager Groups, Conference & Incentives
Due to continuing expansion Discover the World, one of the UK’s leading specialist operators, is looking for an individual with a proven track record within the group travel arena, to head up our groups department and develop conference and incentive business.
We are the world’s leading tour operator to Iceland and Sweden’s Icehotel and our range of destinations also includes the Arctic and Antarctic, New Zealand, Galapagos and Namibia.
The successful applicant will be self motivated, have excellent organisational skills and be a great communicator. They will be responsible for managing a team of 4 and will report directly to the Managing Director.

PA to Managing Director of Specialist Tour Operator
Flexible, well organised and experienced personal assistant required for the managing director of a specialist tour operator located in Banstead, Surrey. The successful applicant will also be required to take on other roles within the company, including customer relations.
